At 8 Count Dance Tour, every dancer shines.

We believe that every soloist, duo, and trio deserves to be recognized for the dedication, passion, and effort they bring to the stage. That’s why each dancer will walk away with an award to honor their hard work. 

Each dancer will receive a medal, with the ribbon color representing their adjudication placement.

Group routines will be celebrated with unique awards to highlight their teamwork and performance.

Because at 8 Count Dance Tour, it’s not just about the competition—it’s about celebrating the journey, the artistry, and the love of dance.

• Score Range: 285-294.9
• Description: Strong, clean, and IMPACTFUL

COUNT 6

• Score Range: 275-284.9
• Description: Solid foundation with room to grow

• Description: Beginning level performance with effort

These awards aren't just about scores — they celebrate passion, creativity, and performance quality that stands out.

• HIT EVERY COUNT--This award celebrates the dancer or group that is locked in from start to finish. Entrance to stage to exit off of stage, this award is for precision, timing, and musicality that makes the choreography FUN, pop off and felt even off the stage. If you hit every beat, you'll own this title.
• THE FINAL 8 (Judges' Choice)--Reserved for the routine that leaves the judges saying, "That's the one." The Final 8 is a coveted judges' choice award that highlights a performance with something unforgettable - whether it's artistry, power, or sheer stage presence. It's overall agreed on unanimously voted, judges favorite!
• HIGHEST SCORING STUDIO OF THE COMPETITION --Numbers don't lie. This award recognizes the studio with the highest average score of the session, proving excellence in technique, execution, and performance across the board. It's also our one time given tour award given. Imagine a very VIP experience, standing ovation, your chance to dance your way down the VIP carpet to claim your 5,6,7,8 coveted neon sign to be hung for all to see in your studio!
• FULL OUT MOMENT--Sometimes a dancer gives us a moment so iconic, so unexpected, that it lives rent-free in everyone's mind. The Full Out Moment award celebrates that wild, bold, and fun performance choice that brought the house down. A number that we all felt in our hearts deserved an award!
